Other films I think of highly... City of God (brazillian), Bladerunner, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Mulholland Drive, Leon the Professional, The Green Mile, Grave of the Fireflies (japanese), Once Upon a Time in America, The Intouchables (french)...just to name a few. Grave of the Fireflies is a Studio Ghibli anime film. I think it's a very powerful anti war story.

Boyz n Da Hood Well I know I'll feel bad for missing out a bunch of other movies Those are just from the top of my head. Btw, someone has to say it: TDK and TDKR are structurally flawed and pretentious movies that are extremely overrated. Begins is good.
